As our Business Development manager you will help agencies and institutions across Europe to make the best out of their spatial data infrastructures. Responsibilities

You’re not afraid of taking over responsibility and getting your hands dirty on the ground? These tasks are what we’d like you to own:

  • Develop a growth sales strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
  • Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
  • Coordinate sales and marketing activities
  • Partner management and joint activities coordination
  • Arrange business meetings with prospective clients and qualified leads either in person or online
  • Promote our products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives
  • Account and pipeline management, forecasting and reporting
  • Sales operational excellence (CRM Management, Process development and improvement)
  • Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers
  • Coach product experts/sales development representatives in sales techniques and customer experience
  • Work together with our Services Team on customer experience and customer on-boarding

After working in this role successfully, you’ll understand what our customers need and will have in-depth knowledge of the technology. You will also have contributed to our organisation and have been improving the sales and marketing processes.

  • Proven working experience as a business development manager, sales executive or a relevant role
  • Proven sales track record
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g. ZOHO)
  • Fluent in German or English
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Proactive, motivated and ambitious individual
  • Willingness to travel (up to 25%)
  • Some bonus points:
    • Experience in customer support and marketing
    • Geospatial/GIS or ETL/Integration domain knowledge
    • Experience in a startup environment
